About Lucy
Lucy is in their 30s, living in Durham NC with their Partner, dog, and their three cats.
Lucy has been interested in fiber arts from a young age, primarily focused on sewing and knitting. In their 20s, Lucy also discovered Polymer Clay art, wool felting, embroidery, cross stitch, and nail art. Later on in life, in 2025, Lucy learned to crochet.
When they aren’t crafting, Lucy is usually doing something related to Technology or is just hanging out with pets, family, and friends.
Lucy has a lot of interest in software and works full time as an Analyst and Programmer at NC State University.
History
At the end of February 2025, Lucy taught themself how to crochet! Beginning in Amigurumi and quickly expanding to floral designs, Lucy found a deep love and fulfillment in crochet. Aided by their years of experience Knitting, Lucy quickly progressed in Crochet skill and decided to start selling their creations in June of 2025.
Lucy got their start at Xaos Collection, a store and tattoo shop that features local artists of all mediums. Lucy started applying to Markets and completed their 5th market at the end of the 2026. Additionally, Lucy got the opportunity to share their work at Bloom Collective & Cafe in September of 2025.
The Future
Lucy got their first art show opportunity in 2026 and will be on display for the Month of May 2026.
Lucy hopes to develop their own original characters in the future to create patterns and creatures.
